Okay here the movements for today..

If i could have gotten in that GPB/JPY Trade..i am pretty sure i would have made 50pips at it..

but hey no problem..

lots of opportunities will be there the next days..never regret not beeing in a trade..there are so many opportunities every day of the week in so many pairs..

here the charts: again watch the relationship between yen futures and the carrys ! sry for not posting that detailed today..but i have to hurry ..there is a poker game going on tonight and i have not much time :D

I was asleep and was not able to catch the breakouts..u remember what i said about trading times? :)

So let`s watch the charts so at least i can say i could have had those pips ;)

As said the Yen Broke up upwards and sent the GBP/CHF and GPB/JPY down together with the Nikkei.

My GPB/CHF Long was stopped out so -50Pips …

I am thinking about how to define an account of my trading progress.

Talking about Pips made is nonsense as long as there is no Risk ,Capital and Position Size established..because 500pips with o.3 Lot (30k) are not the same as 500 pips with 1.0 Lot (100k) ..and one is always changing the lottage depending on volatility of the pair and size of stoploss.

Should i simply start an demo account for this procedure? ( I could also create a link with an perma updated Stats page)..

Will search an Voting Widget for that ;)

TrendlineAlarm woke me up :( Here a Yen Futures chart..when the yen gets strong all the yen carry trades fall in tandem with the Nikkei..!

So if the yen starts climbing over that trendline whe should see gpb/jpy fall off its range..

I`ll try to digg up some pretty good but short explanation about this relationship soon!

Okay it`s bed time for me ;)

I longed GPB/CHF because i pretty much assume based on support holding that the range will close itself and maybe even break out then..i will move the stoploss to BreakEven after 25pips via an Bot (expert advisor).

Assumed Risk Reward here 1:1 but i used half my normal position size (2% of account in relation to StopLoss) because this is clearly countertrend trading. Now i just let it run..

 

@ GPB/JPY the trendline is holding so far..maybe even a pin-bar forming in 74Minutes..would be a great signal with an 1:3 Risk reward

Price is just testing the lower Support Line..but my 4H candle still has 3,5hrs to go.

4H GPB/JPY broke support allready around 200.55 but I am still waiting for the uptrendline break.

Now one can see why i will tend to focus on the weekly trades..15min charts simply stress ur heart to much :)

especially if i try to post them..

I only updated the box for now..As price did not deliver me a signifcant strong signal to the upside i sat on my hands..sitting on your hands is a essential skill of this trade ..ignore it at ur own perril *g*

Actually its not the best time to trade. London and New York open are the times to be at ur platform..but since my schedule is a bit weird the last weeks i tend to be awake at night..and simply nights are always better for me to work. Gotta go to a place where i can trade the west while sitting in the darkness ;)
